Putin alleges ISIS financed by some of G20 member countries

Russian President Vladimir Putin alleged that the terror group, Islamic State (IS) was financed by 40 countries including G20 member countries.

While addressing the G20 Antalya Summit 2015, Putin said that Russian intelligence data on IS financing has been shared with G20 colleagues which revealed its financing by 40 countries around the world.

He urged need to stop illegal oil trade being run by the terror group, however, he complained that the United States clearly rejected to accept Russian offer.

The Russian President reiterated that his country is ready to support armed opposition in Syria to fight Islamic State. He also sought support from the US, European nations, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran.
