Perth Test: Australia lead 193 against New Zealand

PERTH: Steven Smith and Adam Voges’ unbeatable tons led Kangaroos to score 258 runs during the fourth day of Perth Test against New Zealand by getting lead of 193 runs.

Despite the slumping opening, Australian side regained strong position thanked to Smith’s 131 and Voges’ 101 after losing early wickets of Joe Burns and David Warner.

Tim Southee and Trent Boult grabbed one wicket each till the conclusion of fourth day of the play.

In the first innings, Australia scored 559 over loss of 9 wickets and later declared the inning. Responding to the huge score, Kiwi batsmen smashed 624 all out.
