Saudi warplanes hit airport in Sanaa

SANAA: Saudi warplanes hit Sanaa international airport on Saturday in war-torn Yemen. Saudi Arabia launched the air strike after civil aviation authority announced to reopen the Sanaa airport to receive humanitarian aid.

Witnesses said that two missiles hit the runway and made it impracticable. The airport was under control of Houthi rebels. Saudi-led coalition on Friday announced a humanitarian ceasefire in Yemen.
