ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan does not see the Kashmir dispute as a geographical or border issue, but an unfinished agenda of 1947 Partition Plan.

He was responding to a letter of senior woman Hurriyet leader and Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Syeda Aasiya Andrabi.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s policy of providing moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self-determination, promised by the United Nations.

Rejecting that the UN resolutions were outdated, Nawaz Sharif wrote that lapse of a long time does not mean that these resolutions have become outdated.
