KARACHI: At least four accused were killed, while one policeman was hurt in police encounter in different areas of the city on Sunday.
Four suspects were killed during police encounters in Baldia Town, Kharadar and Korangi. When police raided the den of notorious drug-peddler Wahid alias Bush, the accused started firing while fleeing. On police’s retaliation accused Naseem Gul and Aleemullah alias Khan were killed, while their accomplice Farooq escaped.
Two TT pistorls, two hand-grenades and five kg charas were recovered from their possession. The killed were accused of murder, extortion and other serious crimes.
In a separate incident, two accused were killed in police encounter in Kahradar and Korangi. Their identity could not be known.
