Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan said army will be deployed on sensitive polling stations while all institutions have to play their part to organise the local bodies election peacefully in Sindh and Punjab.
Addressing to a meeting conducted to review preparation of second phase of elections, Election Commission of Pakistan chief said it is the responsibility of provincial governments and law enforcement agencies to organise elections peacefully and ensure the security of polling staff.
He said Army and rangers personnel will be deployed to highly sensitive polling stations while in case of emergency army can be deployed to any polling station.
