Voting is best resolve to national issues: JI Sindh chief

HALA, Sindh: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh chief Dr. Merajul Huda Siddiqui said that vote is a national trustworthy and its appropriate usage is the only resolve for all issues of the country.

Dr. Meraj was addressing JI activists during Ijtema-e-Arakan held in Mansoora Hala while he also visited election cell for upcoming Local Government (LG) election. On the occasion, JI Matiari district chief Hafiz Lutfullah Bhutto, deputy chief Maulana Ameen, Maulana Abdul Quddus Ahmedani, JI provincial information secretary Mujahid Channa and various other local leaders were present.

During the address, JI Sindh chief urged clerics to highlight Shariah values of votes in order to make Pakistan a true Islamic, democratic and welfare state.

He said that JI activists must exhibit sacrifice and altruism during LG polls. He complained that corrupt persons were having influential powers as righteous sector is shattered despite their presence in majority across the country.

Dr. Meraj expressed hopes that truth will be victorious during the upcoming polls.
