LOWER DIR: At least five laborers have succumbed to blaze in Lower Dir bakery on Sunday. All of the victims belonged to Azad Kashmir.
Sources said fire erupted out at once due to short circuit in Khal area of Lower Dir which engulfed all the godown in a blink of an eye. The labourers reportedly died of suffocation in the bakery.
Local rescue teams reached the area and doused off the fire to retrieve the bodies. The bodies had been shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
