The Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Geelani said that the Million March will be a clear message for Indian rulers, their agents in the territory and the world community that the people of Kashmir have not surrendered before the military occupation.

Geelani said in a statement that Kashmir was an internationally recognised dispute and pending with the United Nations for last several decades.

He said that the World Body has also passed many resolutions on Kashmir.

The Hurriyet leader condemned the arrest spree in Kashmir Valley and use of excessive force against the pro-freedom people to stop the Million March in Srinagar on Saturday (November 7).

The Hurriyet leader termed the massive crackdown on Hurriyet leaders as frustration and acceptance of defeat by the Indian government.
