LAHORE: Death toll of the labourers killed in four-storey building collapse reaches 26, while 78 others are injured on Thursday in Lahore.
Police said that shopping bags were being manufactured in the factory and many labourers were residing in the factory.
Rescue sources said that 78 injured labourers had been shifted to the hospitals and still many stuck under the building rubbles.
Sources said that casualties could be increased. Construction work was being carried out on fourth floor when the building collapsed.
The bodies and injured have been shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and medical treatment respectively.
At least 100 more labourers are feared trapped under the debris of the building.
