LAHORE: At least 17 labourers have been killed and 78 others injured as four storey factory collapsed on Wednesday in Lahore.
Police said that shopping bags were being manufactured in the factory and the labourers held residence in the factory.
Rescue sources said that 78 injured labourers had been shifted to the hospitals and still many struck under the building rubbles.
Sources said that casualties could be increased. Construction work being carried out on fourth floor when the building collapsed.
At least 100 labourers were feared trapped under the debris of the building.
