Pakistani bowlers fight back as England lost three wickets at lunch day three being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
England resumed their incomplete innings from 222 on loss of four wickets. James Taylor who made 76 was first to lost his wicket courtesy of Sarfarz’s outstanding catch behind the stumps.
Jonny Bairstow’s long resistance came to an end when he was just seven short of what would be another outstanding half century. Zulfiqar Babar cleaned him up bowled when Bairstow was batting on 43.
Adil Rashid who almost led England to draw the 2nd Test which Pakistan won by 178 runs, once again resisted Pakistani bowlers. He failed to score big but give enough support to Samit Patel who is batting on 41.
Adil just lost his wicket with just two bowls remaining in the lunch. Azhar Ali took the blinder at short leg on bowl of Shoaib Malik to remove Adil on 8. At this stage England lead by 51 runs with three wickets in hand.
