PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday released more than Rs2.83 billion for the earthquake affected people.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) officials said, initially, the KP government had released funds for 14 districts including more than Rs710 million for Shangla, Rs520 million for Swat and Rs20 million for Bunair.
As much as Rs120 million have been released for Lower Dir, Rs500 million for Chitral and Rs50 million for Swabi.
Likewise, Rs300 million for Upper Dir, Rs120 million for Mardan, Rs300million for Malakand, Rs10 million for Hangu, Rs50 million for Abbotabad, Rs20 million for Kohistan have been released.
