Aleem Dar announces Rs1m for quake-hit people

LAHORE: Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar on Wednesday announced Rs1 million donation for the people affected of the earthquake which caused ravaged many cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The donation will be used in the rehabilitation of earthquake affected people.

While Shahid Khan Afridi on Tuesday had announced Rs5 million donation for the people of earthquake-hit areas.

The announcement was made during his visit to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital where he visited the earthquake victims.

Afridi has expressed satisfaction over the treatment being provided to those brought to the hospital.

He urged Pakistani nation to stand united for rehabilitation of earthquake affected people.
