KARACHI: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Engr Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has directed the Alkhidmat Welfare Society to utilize their maximum capacities to facilitate the affected people in the earthquake-hit areas.
While expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the calamity, the JI Karachi chief hailed the role of Alkhidmat’s volunteers, who are engaged in the rescue operations.
The JI’s welfare wing Alkhidmat has already launched rescue and support activities to provide help to the affected people.
He asked the Chief Alkhidmat Karachi Engr Abdul Aziz to constitute teams of volunteers and professionals immediately so as they could be sent to the affected areas.
He was of the view that the extreme weather conditions have increased the miseries of the affected people in manifolds.
The high magnitude earthquake has jolted a large number of areas in KPK and Punjab, while several hundred families are directly affected to the earthquake.
