PM Nawaz Sharif calls on US President Barack Obama

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday called on United States President Barack Obama here in White House.

Barack welcomed PM Nawaz Sharif in White House and said that Pakistani community was playing its role for the development of US. He said that they wanted to strengthen Pak-US relations and added that the relations were not comprised of only security. Barak said that the both countries would talk about co-operation in the fields of science, technology, security and economy.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif thanked Barack for the warm welcome and said that Pakistan and US had broad-based relations.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and others were also present in the meeting.
