WAZIRISTAN: Pakistan-made drone, Burraq, attack on Thursday killed several terrorists in South Waziristan, said Inter-Services Public Relations statement.
ISPR said Burraq targeted many militant dens in an operation carried out at night in S Waziristan.
The Burraq is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) developed and built by the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), a civil scientific research and development organization of Pakistan. Burraq carries various imagery and motion sensors, and is equipped with a laser guided air-to-surface missile named Barq. It was first used on 7th September 2015.
