ISLAMABAD: Saad Rafique is likely to be made advisor of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for Railway and senior leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have extended their support to make him advisor to the PM, sources said.
The premier will take final decision in this regard.
Saad lost his National Assembly seat after election tribunal, this week, declared the elections on NA-125 null and void.
On Thursday(today) , Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued a notification cancelling the National Assembly (NA) membership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafiq.
The NA PML-N has decided to challenge the tribunal’s verdict at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
