ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the Kalabagh Dam was a threat to small provinces.
Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said, “It is surprising that a responsible federal minister has given a statement in favor of Kalabagh Dam. We have no objection to the Kalabagh Dam except its site.”
He said that the PPP had been protesting and staging sit-ins against the Kalabagh Dam. He proposed to construct small dams. He said that their children had been martyred in Okara, but no arrest had been made.
