ANKARA: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu separately.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that Turkey president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu appreciated Pakistan’s role for regional peace.
Turkish leadership emphasized fraternal ties between two brotherly nations. The COAS assured Turkish leadership total support in handling their security challenges.
General Raheel Sharif also met with the Chief of General Staff and defence minister. Leadership from both sides were agreed to enhance defense collaboration between the two countries.
