LAHORE: Zafar Gohar has been confirmed on Monday to join Pakistan team as a replacement for injured Yasir Shah in first Test against England on Oct 13.
Captain Misbah ul Haq said that leading spinner of Pakistan, Yasir Shah, experienced a back spasm and assessment will be made in the morning.
Yasir Shah was bowling in the nets and collapsed after bending down to field a ball. Shah who recently became the fastest Pakistani to take 50 Test wickets was considered to be a key bowler for Pakistan in the series and his absence will be a big blow for Pakistan side.
