LAHORE: Several voters were sent back to homes on Sunday by-election following non-verification of registration of their voter lists compiled by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Voters faced severe difficulties to cast their votes in different areas including Bohar Wala Chowk’s polling stations 107, 114, 115 and 116 due to flaws in voter lists.
Various persons were not included and wrong details of few persons were printed in the lists, moreover, ‘Year 2012’ was printed in voter lists came to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) camps.
