LAHORE: DIG Operations Lahore Dr Haider Ashraf on Sunday said complete protection was being provided to the voters on all the 284 polling stations in constituency NA-122.
“Some sensitive polling stations are being given special attention. Hopefully, police will not be blamed this time for being biased,” he said.
He said disrespectful and the people trying to create anarchy would be dealt with iron hand. Police was apolitical and had no political affiliation
Ashraf said no party had complaint against mismanagement.
Total number of voters in NA-122 are 347,762 with 284 polling stations. The number of female voters are 157434 and male voters are 190328.
