KARACHI: Rangers have detained two suspected target killers of MQM Member Provincial Assembly members during raid in Gulshan-e-Maymar area of Karachi today (Saturday).
Rangers spokesperson said, suspects Akbar alias Kala and Konain Haider belong to a political party.
They have allegedly killed seven people including MPA Raza Haider and Sajid Qureshi of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Both suspects have carried out cracker blasts at MQM election camps in Azizabad, Navimabad, Muka Chowk and Yousaf Plaza on the directives of party leadership, the Rangers spokesperson said.
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has also sent them on 90 days remand in Rangers custody.
