LAHORE: India has put Pakistan weightlifting team on waiting from participating in Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship 2015 going to be held in Pune from Oct 11 to 14.
Pakistan Weightlifting Federation spokesperson said on Thursday visas had been applied two months back for eleven-member Pakistan weightlifting squad, however no positive response could yet be given from the other side.
Indian embassy told the federation that the visias would be issued after getting clearance from the Indian government.
