356 arrested during Eid days: Rangers Sindh

Rangers Sindh spokesperson said that 356 persons were arrested over violation of code of conduct during days of Eid-ul-Azha in Karachi.

The spokesperson was detailing regarding the arrests made over violation of regulations envisaged for collection of hides during the Eid days.

He said that 356 people were arrested in different areas of the metropolis while 32 amongst detainees were released later and 288 were handed over to police. Thirty six persons were still under custody of the security forces over being wanted by Rangers in accusation of different sensitive cases.

Rangers’ spokesperson said that different political parties were also found involved in violation of the regulations for hides’ collection across the city while 18,000 hides, which were forcedly grabbed by the citizens, seized by the Rangers’ personnel.

Federal and provincial government will be apprised through a detailed report to be dispatched soon by the security authorities that contained details of actions during Eid-ul-Azha, spokesperson added.
