KARACHI: More than 25 persons have been arrested for snatching hides by the law enforcement agencies during operation in the city on the second day of Eid as well.
Police sources said the raids were carried out in Landhi, Korangi and Shah Faisal Colony areas of district East in which 25 persons were taken into custody for forcibly taking hides from people. 500 hides were recovered from their possession.
The nabbed persons belong to political parties and they have been shifted to the relevant police stations.
This should be noted that the law enforcement agencies had arrested several hide snatchers on the first day of Eid as well during operation across the city.
