Alkhidmat to provide meat to needy, Syrian refugees: Nematullah Khan

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader and former City Nazim Nematuallah Khan has said that the Alkhidmat Foundation would provide meat to needy and poverty stricken people across the country, as well as refugees from Syria.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said that under the Qurbani project, meat of sacrificial animals would be distributed among a lot of needy people.

He said that the foundation has planned to provide meat to the refugees of Syria, stationed in Turkey and other countries, so as to share the happiness and joy of Eid-ul-Adha with the affected Muslim brothers in the time of their need.

The former City Nazim said that tens of thousands of volunteers are ready to serve poor people across the country.

The relief activist appealed masses to join Alkhidmat for collection of heeds of sacrificial animals as well as ‘Ijtami-e-Qurbani’ so as to share the joys of Eid with those who cannot afford.
