55 struck-off for violating party discipline: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan admitted that gross violations of discipline has come to light in the local bodies elections.

 While addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Imran said that he was disappointed at the violation of merit within his party.

He continued that in future nobody will be allowed to give tickets to their relatives and added that 55 party workers had been struck-off from the party because they violated the party’s discipline.

Imran Khan said Rangers help has been sought in Sindh and Punjab to curb corruption. He said  that street children will be integrated into the society and steps needed to provide them shelters.

He added that he will build grounds in the province including the construction of the Wasim Akram Sports Academy. Sports facilities will be provided at union council level, he added.
