BRUSSELS: European Union’s interior ministers today in Brussels, Belgium, are going to discuss relocation of 120, 000 asylum seekers who have recently hit the European land.
A group from central Europe resists calls for 22 EU members to accept mandatory quotas, Hungary takes the strongest lines among them. Hungary considers European borders under threat.
There are suggestions of evenly distributing the refugees.
After talks on Monday between Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, all of whom oppose quotas, Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek insisted the four were still “absolutely dedicated” to finding a solution.
