UNITED NATIONS: Pakistan representative in United Nations Maleeha Lodhi on Saturday condemned the allegation that Pakistan was spreading extremism in Afghanistan and said terrorists’ hideouts were present in Afghanistan.

‘Terrorists hiding in Afghanistan are targeting public and military institutions of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both the countries will have to collectively decide who is their enemy,’ she said while participating in a debate on UN Security Council platform.

She said Pakistan condemned terrorism in Afghanistan as anarchy in the country could not anyway be in favor of Pakistan. The elements trying to destroy Pak-Afghan relations were not their friends.

‘Efforts of Pakistan to bring Taliban on table talk comprised of good intentions and Pakistan does not support their any extremist activity,’ she said.
