At least 16 Namazi embraced martyrdom when terrorists in early hours of Friday have attacked Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Badabar base camp however, troops defended the premises and gunned down as many as 13 militants.
According to DG Inter Services Public Relations Asim Bajwa, the militants opened fire in a mosque inside the base and left 16 Namazi martyred who were offering prayers.

All 13 terrorists had been killed in the clean operation while Captain Asfandyar embraced martyrdom while fighting valiantly and leading his troops from the front, DG ISPR said.

The terrorists entered camp at two points. They further split in sub groups. Encounter began immediately due to quick response, Asim Bajwa said.
