ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) Chief Asfandyar Wali on Thursday said FATA and PATA should be merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). He said National Action Plan was not being implemented in its true spirit.
“ANP has always wanted FATA and PATA to be part of KPK,” he said while talking to media in Islamabad.
He said National Action Plan was not being implemented for what it was supported. Had terrorism been rooted out, Shuja Pasha would have been alive. Table talk between Pakistan and Afghanistan was necessary to finish terrorism.
While talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s performance, he said tsunami had floored into new KPK. KPK minister for natural resources was made scapegoat.
“If Khan had continued social service, he would have earned more respect than Abdul Sattar Edhi,” Wali said.
