LoC firing: Indian deputy high commission summoned by Pak FO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) on Wednesday summoned Indian deputy high commissioner to protest against Indian forces’ firing on Battal sector at the Line of Control (LoC).

FO spokesperson said that Pakistan raised serious concerns over violation of ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC).

Earlier on September 15, Indian troops had resorted to unprovoked firing along LOC in Battal Sector resulting martyrdom of a Pakistan army soldier. Pakistani troops responded befitingly to Indian unprovoked firing that martyred 20-years-old Sepoy Shamas is resident of  Village Shanglot of  Gopis Tehsil  situated in Distt Ghizer of the Gilgit-Baltistan region.
