RAWALPINDI: Another intense series of air strikes during Operation Khyber-II have successfully crushed shattered militants hiding out in different parts of the tribal areas as at least 88 terrorists were killed during aerial attacks across Khyber Agency.
Overall 88 terrorists were killed during fresh air strikes carried out by Pakistan military fighter jets in different parts of the tribal agency, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday (today).
The air attacks were carried out in Tirah Valley and Datta Khel areas where 16 terrorists were killed in Datta Khel and 28 in Tirah Valley. Meanwhile, overall 44 terrorists were killed during air raids in different parts of Khyber Agency.
It should be mentioned here that the latest military assaults were one of the intensified series of attacks against militants during ongoing war against terrorists post visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan where the top political and military high-ups met Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) on Friday (yesterday).
