RIYADH: At least 62 Hajj pilgrims have been martyred and 154 other injured as crane fell in Masjidul Haram, Jasarat News reported.
The crane was deployed on expansion work in Masjidul Haram. Sources said that the crane fell down between Safa and Marwa amid heavy rain in Makkah.
A number of Hajj pilgrims were present at the time in Masjidul Haram. Death toll may increase in the incident.
