KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday demanded of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to minimize National Accountability Bureau’s role in the province.
CM Sindh asked the Apex committee meeting that FIA is a federal institution and it should not interfere in the provincial affairs, sources said.
He demanded to clear NAB role and said that he is the chief executive of the province but he had been bypassing by the investigating agency. Sources said that the CM Sindh raised questions over NAB plea bargain process.
He demanded of the government to bring him in confidence before any action in Sindh. While Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured to resolve CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah’s reservations.
