KARACHI: An Anti Terrorism Court on Saturday (today) issued death warrants of convicted prisoner Saulat Mirza again.
As per instructions of the court now he will be hanged on May 12 at 4:00 am.
Earlier, the ATC had set his execution date on March 19 and just hours before his confessional video appeared on news channel in which he requested to halt the execution for some time so that he could help law enforcement agencies.
First his execution was delayed by federal government for three days later the ATC t issued his hanging orders for 1st April but was again delayed for a month.
According to the fresh black warrants of Saulat Mirza, he will be sent to the gallows on 12th May.
Government also had formed Joint Investigation Team for probe his confessional statement and he also recorded his statement before magistrate where he repeated his confessional statement. The JIT team has completed interrogation and sent its report to interior ministry.
