PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Monday hailed police performance and said that political influence had been removed in the police department.
While addressing an inaugural ceremony of Police Information Technology School, the Khattak said that establishment of the Information Technology schools was a step towards modern technology.
He said police had no intelligence mechanism in the past but now it possessed not only this but also the record system. “The police has become an organized force”, Khattak added. He also announced to set 100 reporting rooms across the province.
