Funeral prayers were offered for renowned politician and founding member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, in Sukkur today.
Pirzada was passed away in London during his medical treatment in last few days. His dead body was brought to Pakistan today and funeral prayers were offered in his ancestral city while he would also be buried in Jai Shah area of Sukkur.
The prayers were attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Khursheed Shah, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen and various other government and prominent personalities.
