ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has devices to re-appoint Ayaz Sadiq as Speaker of the National Assembly.
The government has finalised all the legal and constitutional measures in this regard.
As per rule 11, “whenever the office of the Speaker becomes vacant, an election to fill that vacancy shall be held if the Assembly is in session or at the commencement of its next session.”
Ayaz Sadiq was de-seated by the election tribunal from NA-122 constituency of Lahore on August 22 after massive irregularities were found in the constituency during the 2013 general elections.
