ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that its officers will supervise by-election on NA-122 and NA-154.
ECP issued a notification on Tuesday saying that the by-elections will be supervised by it’s officers not by Court’s officers.
For this purpose, ECP appointed Regional Election Commissioner Bannu as DRO for NA-122 from where National Assembly speaker was disqualified.
District election officer Muzaffargarh was appointed as assistant returning officer for the constituency.
On the other hand ACDIO Model Town and Election officer Faisalabad appointed as assistant returning officers for NA-154.
Candidate will be eligible to submit their nomination papers from September 10 for both constituencies.
By-elections on NA-122 will be held on 11 October.
