ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that National Action Plan(NAP) is the Pakistan’s security policy and it should not be made controversial.
He said that discussion on civil-military relations would slow down operations against terrorists. Interior minister said that they launched 5,900 intelligence based operations and 62,000 targeted operations across the country. 1,114 terrorists have been killed and 885 militants detained so far. He was of the view the crimes decreased by 70 percent after the NAP.
