Two new teams added to PSL

After the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), it has been decided to add two new teams.

According to media reports, Pakistan Super League Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer told the media that two more new teams can be found for the league by the end of this year.

PSL CEO Salman Naseer said that the league started at a time when the return of cricket to Pakistan was the first project, for which PSL was launched, today we have succeeded in it, so our next target is to hold matches in lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan and other cities.

He said that matches in the 11th edition of PSL will also be held in Peshawar and other new cities.

At present, there are six teams in the Pakistan Super League, including Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans.

The CEO PSL did not say what the two more teams joining the PSL will be and what their names will be.

On the other hand, according to the PCB, Peshawar will host an exhibition match of the PSL on April 8 in the 2025 season.

The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will begin on April 11, while the final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on May 18.

Earlier, Express News had reported that before the start of the 10th edition, the board has found buyers of two new franchises for the 11th edition.
