Alkhidmat inaugurates health services at Karachi's Punjab Chowrangi

Alkhidmat Karachi has inaugurated a medical services center at Punjab Chowrangi.

The center will offer consultant clinics, ultrasound, dental services, echocardiography, physiotherapy, and a modern pharmacy. The inauguration was led by Alkhidmat Karachi’s CEO Naveed Ali Baig.

Present at the occasion were Khabbab Ahmed, Shabaab Ahmed, Alkhidmat Karachi’s Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, Director of Diagnostic Services Dr. Azeemuddin, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer for South District, Sufyan Dilawar.

Speaking at the event, CEO Naveed Ali Baig highlighted the rising poverty levels in society, noting that official reports indicate poverty has reached 40%. He stated that 40% of the population cannot meet their basic needs and lacks access to education, healthcare, and other essential services.

Alkhidmat Karachi operates with a spirit of service and is stepping forward to serve these people. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services and continues to do so progressively. Baig emphasized that the clinic and collection point at Punjab Chowrangi will provide modern and high-quality healthcare services to the local community at subsidized rates, including discounted medicines. The building also houses an advanced IT training center under the “Bano Qabil” initiative. Dr. Azeemuddin, Director of Diagnostic Services, mentioned that Alkhidmat has also established a state-of-the-art diagnostic center in Nazimabad, featuring an advanced radiology department which provides high-quality diagnostic tests at affordable rates.

He added that this was Alkhidmat’s 20th clinic and collection point, all of which operate according to modern standards. Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami District South, Sufyan Dilawar expressed gratitude to Shabab Ahmed, Khabbab Ahmed, and the entire Alkhidmat management for establishing a high-quality clinic, collection point, and pharmacy in the area that he hoped would benefit the residents of Punjab Colony, Gizri, Lower Gizri, Clifton, Defence and surrounding areas. With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, Naveed Ali Baig prayed for the organization’s ability to continue serving humanity.
