JI submits answers of JC’s questioner

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Wednesday submitted answers to questioner in Judicial Commission formed to probe alleged rigging in last general election.

The three-member commission, headed by Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, had issued a questionnaire to all parties, asking answers of three key questions to determine whether or not the elections were systematically rigged.

In his reply, the JI stated that Muttahida Qaumi Movement resorted to organized rigging in last general elections and their sector in-charges were involved planned and organized rigging.

The JI reply further said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was completely failed in conduction  transparent and neutral elections in Karachi and Hyderabad in last general elections.

The ECP also neither  implemented its rules and regulations nor fulfilled its duties amicably in the elections, the JI reply reads.
