VEHARI: A condemned prisoner in district jail Vehari was hanged till death early morning on Wednesday.
The jail sources said that the convicted prisoner Abdul Ghafoor was executed. The convicted had killed 8-year-old girl child after raping her in June 20 1991.
District and session judge Lodhran had given death sentence to him. After canceling of all his appeals in courts, President of Pakistan also dismissed his mercy appeal on April 6 this year.
After that the district and session judge Lodhran issued his black warrants on April 22.
