PPP leader calls for Rs 12-15 decrease in petrol prices

SUKKUR: Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah Saturday said that in light of falling oil prices in the international market, the petrol prices in the local market should also be reduced by Rs. 12-15 per liter.

Talking to newsmen at his residence here, the opposition leader condemned attack on MQM leader Rashid Godil terming it an attempt to destabilize the country.

He lauded the role of the Chairman Anti-Corruption Committee and said, since the committee has the same powers as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) the two entities should not intervene in the committee’s operations.
