The decision of the 190 million pound reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi will be pronounced at 11:30 today.
According to the sources, the lawyers of PTI founder Imran Khan have been informed by the court staff.
Sources say that Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court will give the reserved decision on the 190 million pound reference today at 11:30 on Friday.
It should be noted that the decision on the 190 million pound reference has been postponed 3 times.
The judgment on the £190 million reference was reserved by the accountability court for December 18, 2024. The Accountability Court had first fixed the date of December 23 and then January 6 to pronounce the verdict, then gave the third date of January 13, but the verdict could not be pronounced even on that day and it was postponed.
It is to be noted that the prison trial of the 190 million pound reference was completed in one year. This is the only case against Imran Khan whose trial lasted for one year. NAB had arrested Imran Khan on 13 November 2023. A £190 million reference was filed in the Accountability Court on 1 December 2023 following an investigation at Adiala Jail.
