Saudi govt makes vaccination against various diseases mandatory for Umrah pilgrims

Health rules for Umrah pilgrims have been issued by the Ministry of Health.

According to the notification issued by the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority, all necessary vaccinations and precautions will be mandatory for Umrah pilgrims.

The notification directs passengers to carry health documents, including vaccination certificates.

According to the certification, meningitis vaccine is mandatory for visitors from all over the world, and visitors arriving in Saudi Arabia must present a vaccination certificate.

According to the notification, polio vaccine will be mandatory for visitors from Pakistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan and other affected countries, while yellow fever vaccine will be mandatory for travelers from Angola, Nigeria, Brazil and Congo.

In the notification, it has been said that on the recommendation of the World Health Organization, corona and seasonal flu vaccines will be mandatory, while the visitors have also been instructed to complete vaccination against tetanus, measles and other diseases.
